Things I've Learned from Becoming an Adult

1) When you do what you don't want to do, you get exactly what you had been wanting in the first place.

2) Relationships: parents, friends, significant others become tricky as your time dwindles and their need for you grows.

3) It's difficult to not judge yourself based on other people's standards. But, it's okay if you do because when you realize you're doing it you can finally start working on yourself.

4) Never think you know exactly what someone else is thinking. Communication may in fact be the answer to life, not 42.

5) Sometimes arguing is the best solution. If the person doesn't argue with you then they don't love you.

6) Learn to balance your heart and your mind. Letting on control the other will ruin your sense of self.

7) You are confused and will stay confused for a while. Don't stress over it because life is worthless if that's the only emotion you feel.
